Only independence provides the realistic opportunity to bring about the truly liberal society we want.<br /><br />After a yes vote in next year's referendum, there will be an opportunity to define the limits of the new state's powers and the rights of the individual in a written constitution. As a party we should be engaging in the process of writing that constitution to ensure that an independent Scotland is founded on liberal values. To do so we need regime change in the Scottish party so that we have a less tribalistic and more pluralistic leadership that can make a success of these negotiations.<br />Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
